DME upgrade and Chargepipe question

I have a JB4 stage 2 for the n55. Someone told me to upgrade my DME if I am getting some issues with sudden jerks etc.

What is a DME? How and where can I upgrade? I can't find anything -_-.

Just want a quick direct answer please

also what does a BOV do on a chargepipe?

thank you.

Hi

DME = Digital Motor Electronics

It's like your Windows for your car

Try to mail Mike! He is the JB4-god on this forum

Then you need a DME update unless your car was @ the dealer and got programmed on a visit.

I don't believe you can and want to. Disconnect the jb4 and go get it done.

Sudden jerks?? Are you sure the JB4 was installed correctly? Maybe you're getting misfires??

Several possibilities without more specific details

A BOV is an alternative to a DV, if you decide to switch from the OEM DVs to a BOV-setup, you'll need a new CP that has the proper connection
