335is End Production Date

Is there a definite end of production date for the IS? Any input would be greatly appreciated, as that is probably what I will end up moving to once my lease is up. (I want the N54) Thank you in advance.

Looking for the same info. I plan on ordering an IS in June and don't want to miss the boat on this one...

i know the pdf of production dates shows 6/12 for the end of the e92, just when in June? Can I walk in and order mid-June or is it 6/1 cutoff?

Not sure, but don't miss out! Your friendly neighborhood dealer should be able to answer that.

looking for the same info myself. If the IS is produced later than the initial 6/12 EOL date, I'd be ecstatic. going to try and make a run to the local dealer this weekend and get more info.

I've just posted up the 2013 E92/E93 pricing information.

The 2013 335is will start production in July. See http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=691785

Looks like the N54 will continue in the 335iS for 2013....

I think the e90 EOP date was announced when the f30 was well underway, if not already in the dealers.

Hence, we are far from seeing EOP for e92, since there even is no official pictures of the new coupes out there.

Roundel (BMW CCA) official periodical/magazine states that the E92/E93 M and derivatives will go on to MY 2014 (so that at least 2013 production date). But it never says if N54 on is will continue, but maybe it's implied just like the Z4 35i always uses N54 instead of N55.

The bigger question, would 335is continues in F32 chasis?
IMHO, it will since this is BMW niche to combat Audi S5 (still in V8 form not the tunebale V6 super-charge ala S4), so BMW still need this is line to combat sale erotion.

Good points, but hard to know what BMW is going to do... I personally think N54 engine has more potential mechanically. Plus BMW has a reason for keeping it on the is model so far.

Will see what happens. Since they patented their electric turbocharger, will see what bmws plans to do in coming models. I for one am not impressed with the 3-series coupe become a 4-series....

Mine is being produced next week. I think they will be making them in may but you better order soon if you want the last n54 3 series.

I saw on the dealer production list a e92 335i being produced the 2nd week in may. Not sure how long it takes them to change the assembly line but the 4's are being made in august and I'm sure it takes them a couple months to setup the assembly line for a new model.

Just order it now its not like you have to pay much if anything to order it. I honestly think if you wait any longer your gonna be out of luck.

Yeah, June is what I've been hearing, and I was told yesterday as I was submitting my order that my dealership only has one IS slot remaining... Forever.

The last orders are being taken now.. June is when production stops. You cant order one in June since production will have stopped. Orders have to be placed before production ends. There is only a hand full of allocations left.
