I have a 2006 325i
Iv noticed recently on cold starts iv been having a hard time pressing on the brakes to start the car, there's a lot of resistance. After the car is up and running the brakes go back to normal, I was just wondering if that's normal or is something wrong ? Please let me know what you guys think Thanks |

Doesn't sound good. Does the car still stop in normal braking distance when it's hard? Could be many things from a bad brake booster to who knows. I would go to a shop to diagnose

After i turn on the car in the morning, the rest of the day is fine. No problems what so ever, brakes fine at stop lights, stops you name it. It's just in the morning when I first try turning on the car, there's just a lot of resistance on the brake but once the car is up and running the brakes go back to its original position.
This happen rarely, I read something yesterday and I think it's the vacuum valve in the booster brakes. |

There was an SIB for this somewhere. AT guys couldnt even depress the brake pedal enoguh to start the car. I forget what the cause was, but I think it was a vacuum line to the booster or something...
