18" Apex EC-7 vs. 18" Forgestar F14
Which wheels should I get if both the wheels are the same price? I have a 2008 E92 335i on the stock sport suspension. The only modification is front lowering perches. Also, would these specs work on my car without rubbing? I have not seen 45s in the front of an 18" wheel on a E92, but I don't really know too much about wheels and tires.
Both wheels are Silver and my car is sparkling graphite. Note, I am coming from crappy 19" Miro M6 reps and on LA roads, all reps suck!!! WHEELS: Apex Ec-7 Front: 18x8.5 ET35 Rear: 18x9.5 ET43 TIRES Front: Sumitomo HTR Z III 245/45/18 Rear: Sumitomo HTR Z III 275/40/18 Thank you for all the future responses, I really appreciate the help!!! |

Your tire sizes are wrong 245/40/18F 275/35/18R Spend the money on some better tires

The tires come with the EC-7 wheels, and I kind of figured they were going to be too big, it was just a good price. I just read a post from VMRwheels in 2011 informing a customer that it would rub on compression. Oh well! Thank you for your feedback!

The aspect ratios large, which would result in a very tall sidewall and will cause rubbing on your fenders. The recommended tire sizes are 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 for the 18x8.5" ET35 and 18x9.5" ET43 EC-7's, but if you wanted the wider tire sizes, the 245/40/18 and 275/35/18 does require a rear fender roll for the tires to clear the fenders under compression.
