Timing Chain

I had a quick question, coming from a VW Jetta TDI I had to replace the timing belt at 80,000 - 100,000 miles. I would usually buy a Timing Belt kit which included:

1 Timing Belt
1 Timing Belt Tensioner
1 Timing Belt Tensioner Idler
1 Water Pump w/ PPS Impeller and Gasket O-Ring
2 Serpentine Belts
1 Thermostat w/ O-Ring Seals
1 Front Crankshaft Seal
1 Camshaft Seal
1 Intercooler Transfer Pipe Seal
4 Serpentine Pulley Bolts (Lower Crank)
2 Motor Mount to Frame Rail Bolts
2 Motor Mount to Engine Bracket Stretch Bolts
3 Water Pump Mounting Bolts
1 Loctite Thread Locking Compound
1 Loctite Anti Seize Compound
3 Liters G12 Plus German Ravenol Antifreeze

Now being a new owner of a 335d can anybody help me with what to look for when doing a service like this, I know that you don't change the timing chain, but what about everything else? And when should it be perform?

Chains are lifetime. Water pumps don't seem to be a problem that requires pro-active replacement on M57's. Motor mounts don't fail often. Coolant is spec'ed as lifetime by BMW, but change it WITH BMW COOLANT if you want (Glysantin G48, Zerex G-05 or others meeting BMW specs.)

If you're going to change the serpentine belt, change the tensioner, too.

Other than that, you don't need to do anything. The reason you changed the water pump and stuff is only because you had to remove them to get to the timing belt, and it was "efficient".
