7d looks pretty nice. new dual Digic 4 sensor.
\\great new specs for video capture, too.
1900 price tag w/ lens. (Canon's EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS)

It's a very nice camera (pending real world reviews). If it was full frame I would jump on it in a heart beat. hehe

theyre two different cams?

one is FF one is crop...

but I imagine the AF system from the 7D will somehow be revamped someday for the 5dmkiii

That's a very big brother. This camera is crop-frame. The 1d is a professional camera. The 7d is just a really nice one. There are a whole lots of differences.

the 60d that was rumored to release has a new name and that would be the 7d. i think that everything that comes with it, that price isnt too bad.

My friend is seriously thinking about the 7D and ditch his 30D that he got 3.5 years ago..

Originally, he was going for 5d MK2 for a FF, but they are still $1K apart... and given many significant upgrades over 50D... 7D is a good compromise..

damn.. this is a nice camera........ but I just got my 50D earlier this year.. =(
