Yeah looks like they were trying to accomodate as many car makes as possible lol. It's cool the e90 made the list but so many factors to take into account, of which price brackets are a big one. I don't think much of this list.

Still I always like to see these threads posted regardless so thanks to the op for sharing.

i have a Buick LaCrosse and I love it. This is why it is in my garage with my M3 while my cheap e90 is sitting out in the cold and snow.

Motorweek is weak sauce. They probably only consider cars that they have actually tested. THEN they find a way to distibute the awards . Just my opinion.

Concur with the above and I'm not sure why this result is laughable, unless you haven't actually checked out the car. Test drove it for the wifey. I wouldn't get one myself, but in the tough segment of Lexus ES350, Acura TL type vehicles, this is a stand-out. (Note, the previous generation wasn't.)

The LaCrosse is one HELL of a car for the money. You snobs need to get your noses out of the air and realize that the world doesn't revolve around BMW.

I'm seriously considering swapping out my other car for one.

Rental car companies classify the Lacrosse as a luxury sedan as well. I was in line at a checkout counter not long ago, and a dude in front of me was requesting some type of luxury car. The agent checked the inventory, smiled, and said, "good news, looks like we can put you in a Buick Lacrosse!"

The look on his face was priceless. Something like,

I'm all BMW, brand is always everything. A lot of other companies are really stepping there cars up. They are beginning to close the gap. Therfote giving more car For the money. Seriously, check the car out before critisizing. The camaro, which I don agree with, probably gives more sports car for the money as well for some reason. I don't agree with the camaro being there but Id look into it before saying anything. Next year, I'm sure the 335is will be on a ton of lists.
