Petit Lemans

Anyone going to Petit Leman this year?
I'm all booked. Looking forward to some paddock pics and race day.

Any forum members going as spectators or with team affiliation?

Should be fun!

Is there a BMW corral planned? Called Road Atlanta today, and they said BMW has not yet announced the corral!
What gives?

I am thinking about this. Does anyone recommend getting the parking pass online or just paying when you get there?

I have parking pass. Has support paddock parking on race day.
There is plenty of free parking but it is a bit of a hike to the track.

I did that long hike to the track up the public driveway. That hill is a bit*h.

You can either park outside the main gate where you pick up tickets, or drive up closer near the track and look for parking (public driveway 9.) Some areas are blocked off for car corrals, and others for RV's.

This year I might rent a golf cart. My friend told me it's a good idea. It's nice to watch the race from different areas of the track.

Can't wait for the race.

They are having it earlier this year and I'll be on vacation with the family. My twin daughters went with me last year and we were looking forward to making it this year; but can't.

Call the Road Atlanta office at 800-849-RACE. Ask them for the phone number to book golf carts. Sorry, I don't know the cost.

I am soo considering this. There IS a BMW corral sponsered by BMWCCA...considering Oktoberfest starts the next day I am not surprised.
