When did you change your spark plugs??

Im a little over 17k on my car. Less than 1k has been with a tune. I was wondering when everyone here changed thier spark plugs. I've seen a few people on here who had the JB3 and changed thier plugs and got alot better results.

Got 31000 miles. Changing them this weekend. Not having any misfires but I figure it can't hurt and a few members have experienced gains in HP from changing them.

I have been wondering the same thing. I have 16000 and about 4000 with the JB+ @ 100%.

11K on my car, tuned for around 9k of that, still on original plugs. The car runs better than new after break in.Feels like it runs better every time i drive it.Started with a JB1 at 2k,went to the SSTT w/BMS intake at 2500 miles, and thats where i am today, except for cosemetic mods.

I,m retired and really dont to much driving, except locally.Besides i have a Jeep Grand Cherokee for the winters and rainy days so i dont get my 335 dirty since i keep it super detailed all the time.I,m 52 and have been retired for 10 years,so all my last 3 cars were also low miles, kept clean rides.Last three before the 335 were an 01 Camaro SS,03 Evo,06 Evo BR350 IX.Also have a Harley to play with.

the BT tellsy ou exactly the shape of your spark plugs

BUT
I am still searching for something much better than the original ones and can't truly understand why DENSO first offered their iridium ones for the N54 and then canceled such offer from their pricelist

Is there a specific amount of miles you should change them by?

Just changed them out at 12,800 miles.
Gained 30whp on the dyno by doing so. I run plenty of race gas and drive hard. I'm a firm believer that tuned turbo cars need to do this far more frequently than NA cars.

from my personal experience, i suggest one to do it around 20k - 25k miles. i was shocked by the condition of spark plugs at 30k miles. really bad... especially with tune...

Hmm, maybe I'll change mine now at 24k. What's the cost on this? I'm assuming it's a DIY?

I'd be very interested in seeing pics of what members here consider "really bad" plugs. Does anyone have pics of their actual used plugs or am I the only geek here?

i saw couple members posted up under dyi and others. what i meant by really bad was the prongs were light brownish color not black... you will know.

i didn't think that i had spark plug issues until i changed it. you get less mis-fires and notice bit of gain. according to some members, they actually gain hp after just changing plugs...
