$450 for coilover installation and alignment?

Does $450 for a coilover installation and alignment sound expensive to you guys? I am in Queens. Thanks.

For a shop? Sure. I had my friend do my springs and will do coils in his driveway for a hundred bucks.

Typical alignment will cost $150. For corner balance throw in a other $100-$150. So $300 for coilover install sounds fair considering average shop rate.

Cool thanks.

Should I wait a week after the installation to do the alignment? the shop told me that it's better to do it at the same time.

Actually, you should wait for the suspension to settle before you get the alignment. If you are buying used, not that big of a deal (with springs at least) but if not, you can wait a bit. NOOB

I like to let them settle after setting the ride height... drive it and then align

Sounds about right, I paid $350 plus $50 for an alignment two weeks after installation.

One more question... Is camber adjustment included in an alignment? I am not running a very aggressive wheel set up, do I need to do camber adjustments?

$250 for non-XI and $300 for XI install is about right.
$100 for alignment is about right.

That's a great price you've been quoted.

Some shops will charge more to do "performance alignments" vs "stock alignments." Have you drop height set, the wheels you plan on running, and just get the shop to make them fit with proper alignment.
