TT M3 is back in the garage......now its my turn to have an install party!

oh boy oh boy oh boy

after getting the car back from AtSpeed motorsports after getting the head reworked and a Vibrant cat installed in the downpipe (thank god...no more stink) I had to start working on the new parts I've had sitting around. Its been gone for a week, and in that time I've been stockpiling parts :redspot.

1st up....new Corbeau CR1's in black leather w lumbar supports. These things are beautiful, light, and are really comfortable w/ the optional lumbar supports. These aren't installed yet, but i'm planning on getting the driver seat in tonight :buttrock. Need to hit the junkyard w/ Mark tomorrow and pick up some seat belts to add on to the supplied brackets. My vaders are already sold so I cant grab the buckles off of there.

still searching for a good upholstery shop thats local to get the motorsports flag added like this:

Next and even better..........the fully recleaned and sealed/wheel waxed RCJ's w 265 Vredestein Sessanta's.....just beautiful. Check out that fitment!!! I havent driven the car yet w/ these on....praying for now rub. Otherwise the fenders are getting rolled even harder than they are already.

no chance of a finger fitting in there, biggest tire thats going to work on this fender

passenger hasnt settled since it was jacked up to swap out the style 5's

MEAT!

New kenwood Excelon head unit w/ bluetooth, sirius, and a 100gb hard drive in the glovebox....waiting on 3 preamp wires to run to the trunk for amps the its getting installed.

new headlights and fog's, both with 6000k HID. BTW, I have ZKW's w angel eyes that will be for sale soon...PM me if interested.

18 button computer ready to get retrofitted

and finally, spent a little more time detailing the engine bay

Looks like i'm pre ordering an Aquamist HFS-6 now and will trailer the car down to Florida in June to get a custom tune for it from NickG.........F yeah!

ok, thats all for now...i'm excited, sorry for the long post.

Looking good!

303 Aerospace will dress the engine bay nicely and it won't attract dirt and dust.

I hope you don't rub and if you do my buddy Billy has a fender roller.

It is never over. I just likes to hide and then come back again sooner or later. Get your tires through break in so we can have fun on Saturday.

I hope! I just got done messing with the headlights....some parts work, others not. Wiring on the driver side is all messed up. oh the joys of taking over someone elses project.

I think I'll have everything ready by Saturday, but the seats are another thing...thats going to depend on what I find out tomorrow.

New front tires are here so i'll get those mounted up tomorrow.

Unfortunately my work blocks public photo share sites, so I can't see your pics, but from what you wrote it sounds like a monster. Regarding your seat bracket woes, I used to own an E36 M3 track car with racing shells and I bought a fixed bracket mount for my Sparco Ultra passenger seat. I had to add a couple holes to it to make it fit the OMP mounts I bought for the shell. I've since sold the car but I parted that seat out. I never sold the floor base though, and I'd be glad to give it to you if you think it'll help. It looks like this:

I'll be attending the spring drive this weekend if you want me to bring it. It may not help you in your current situation, but if you can make use of it or know someone who can, its yours.

Here's a link to my car details. I really miss that thing.

If you could bring those that would be GREAT. I'm going to try and source the correct bases today, but if I dont have any luck I would love to get a hold of yours and modify however necessary.

and your car was a beast as well!!! It would kick my '99's ass on the track thats for sure.

lol, I dont want any passengers breaking out the passenger glass with their heads...that happened in my old Camaro. I had racing Corbeau's w/ 5 point harnesses in that car, but only the driver's seat. Well after my passenger was getting tossed around I decided it was time to put in a passenger seat.
