Should I do this?

I had this idea back when I first got my kit but a couple of people advised against it. I think it will look good on my color if I flat black the diffuser portion (not the spoiler just the bottom diffuser). What do you guys think?

Actually, I think that the bottom diffuser looks great on the AW. The spoiler in black is a tough call though. Any other pictures from the side or top?

Not my cup o' tea, but....
FWIW, If you're going to do the two tone thing,
then I thing you need to go all the way & do the roof too.

BTW I have SG not AW so the contrast won't be as extreme. I don't care for the spoiler I would just be painting the diffuser. I also have blacklines and may paint the roof at some point probably no though.

I think it would really add an aggressive touch to my bumper. Need more opinions!

Current setup:

yes, everyone is voting no because they don't get what you're saying and don't realize yours isn't white.

When the diffuser is painted, I think it looks too plain. If you leave it black it appears more purposeful.

Since your car is a dark color, it probably will not stand out as much.

My opinion is that if the diffuser is painted black, it will be less noticeable. This is not necessarily bad or good, depending on your inclination. For instance, the AW E90's rear bumper shown in the photo looks a little like the Kerscher's because the black makes the diffuser disappear in the shadows.

Good point, although it will also add a "new" dimension to the bumper because it will apear to be a different shape in certain lights.

Another possibility would be to paint everything but the fins on the diffuser.

Wink Diffuser?

So, what exactly are we diffusing with this? Air? Like a race car? Is that what this thing is supposed to look like? Man, it just mucks up the back if you ask me. Seriously, the street 330 is not a race car. I just don't get this. Looks busy and odd to me.

That's my take.

He's not asking if you approve of his diffuser. He's asking for opinions about the color scheme.
