Just Got My Oil Changed....

Only halfway... So does this mean it's the oil sensor

It means they probably didn't fill it up all the way as they should have.. Bring it back and request 1/2 a quart extra be added..

It means you are 1/2 or 1/4 quart low. Nothing horrible, but adding a 1/4 quart might bring you closer to max full.

If you are sure you have ~7 qts in the system, just watch the reading for the next few days. The oil level sensor can have some variability to it and they sometimes wear out or go bad. If the indicated level of oil changes dramatically in short amounts of time, your sensor is bad. If the sensor just reads halfway, but stays constant, it is not worth worrying about it.

This happens to mine, I wouldn't be worried. I recently did an oil change and sometimes it will show half on the screen and sometimes full. I know I am not leaking it. Be worried if it goes on "min" I'd say if not just let it dance around full and half lol.
