Reality check re. tire pressure - 2006 330i sport owners
In the door jam it seems to indicate the tire pressures for my sport package equipped car is 38psi front 45 back. This seems very high to me, the Michelin PS2 tires I have on there (non-RFT) are good for 50 psi, so I'm safe there, but wow, that's a lot of air in car tires.
Can you guys confirm you're running similar pressures? |

Sounds like your either looking at high speed tire pressure or max tire pressure. The standard for sport is 32f 36r. I run a few pounds higher in the front for less understeer.

My E92 335i sitting in my garage is something like 35 in the rear, 32 in the front.
I went to check my 10 e90 LCI 335i m-sport with the same tires that are on the sport E92 335i potenza's and on the 2010 E90 its like 38 in the front 40 something in the back! Has to be with economy and MPG, to keep the car coasting more. |

18" staggered. Oddly there are only 1 set of numbers for the pressure. In other cars there are high weight, or high speed numbers...in this case, 1 set of numbers. I have an early build car (Nov or Dec 2005), so maybe that's relevant here. Sounds like I need to pressure down. Thanks, and sorry if this is in the wrong forum. |

Look in your owners manual. It has the pressure settings for different types of tires, different sizes, loads, and speeds.
The number in the door jamb is only for the OEM ZSP 18" 225/255 wheels, and the correct pressure is 32F/36R.
