Yeah, I wouldn't be able to use it knowing that someone else had washed THEIR dirty dishes in it. Get the gap insurance though, just in case the value of the dishwasher is less than any outstanding finance on it.

Do you think Bosch are more of a target for opportunist thieves than hotpoint ?

I've heard that Zanussi's are currently the most sought after and a recent spate of thefts were discovered being smuggled out of Hull on the ferry. They are being stolen to order for buyers on the continent.

They just strip them down for parts these days. Might you - I heard that Comet in Gravesend was being investigated for 'ringing'.

Look out for cut and shuts too. I had one once. A Smeg. The door was off a Hotpoint cleverly welded onto the frame. I was livid when I found out...

Its your lucky day son...

She's a beautiful machine this one. Large lower fridge with four shelves, drawers at the bottom, and shelves in the door including egg holders. The top is a freezer, enough to store 597 bags of frozen peas. One owner, full service history, immaculate.

No time wasters please....

Does it have lights inside (xenon?)

On second thoughts, as its you, its probably been redlined a few times and might need new rubber fitted.

The interior lights are xenon and smoked to look extra cool!! Yes I've redlined all the way up to 6 degrees. The humm she made was just beautiful...

It does 0 degrees to 4 degrees in only 5.8 secs so its only a little slower than a Bosch

Cupholders?? Of course!!!!!!

Is the freezer stock? Or has it been chipped?

Not that age old Bosch vs Smeg argument.

Bosch has a long and illustrious sporting pedigree. It's the ultimate fridge for the enthusiast.

Smeg's have always been more about image than performance.

Of course the Smeg has power, but it will never have the hard 'edge' of a Bosch appliance.

These big american fridges are all very well, but you CANNOT get them into a sustained powerslide on a track.

Yeah but Smeg doesn't have the confusing DTC/DSC that the Bosch has

So which setting should I use on the Bosch, Dynamic Temperature Control or Defrost Servo Control?
