Depends on how many miles you intend on driving, how long you plan on keeping the car, financing rates and so on.

I bought a 328i initially also - didn't feel like waiting for a 135i or a 335i to be built. It handled fairly well and had decent power. Then I started getting passed by Audi's all the time on the autobahn, so I traded in for a 335i. JB3 + DCI and I was keeping up with the lower-end Porsches on 120mph-145mph pulls. I miss those days . Now I'm stuck with Hawaii traffic . . .
