Anyone else have really bad headlights

Hi guys

Had the car almost 3 weeks now and still lovin it, but one major problem, it has really bad headlights. Just the standard halogen ones but when dipped you can hardly see 10-20ft infront of the car. Was out last night with my dad driving and he had to stop because he did not feel safe not seeing far ahead. Decided to check myself tonight out for a drive, and i know this is bad, but keep the full beam on and not 1 person flashed me.

I seen the thread in the DIY section on how to raise the lights but i cannot see the same screw on my car.

Should i take a run to the dealer and get them to check it?

Must be the alignment, the standard lights are perfectly acceptable.

Yer, get them checked. I have Xenons and compared to my last car, these are rubbish, but I did find the screw to raise them a bit on both sides and now see sufficiently ahead, though probably could raise a bit more on one side.

Every BMW I've owned has had low headlight setting and I end up getting them raised, by coincidence I've just done my 1 series.

And yes the standard halogens aren’t much cop
