Yea it'll work, you just have to trim the bottom of the stock e92 bumper for the diffuser to fit...

I think the diffuser is part of the M-package bumper. If you have the standard bumper, I don't think we have any options except to dremel a wider opening for the tips.

Thanks, I'll keep ya posted. Yea...cyba makes a diffuser for the M-Tech E90 bumper, but I'm not sure if he's making one for the standard E90 bumper or not. You can pm him.

I think I have less room to play with than you since I have a sedan with a stock bumper. But it'll be nice to see how they fit the thing in your car.
Good luck and post pics of the underside!!!

Same as my E93 but w/out the extra bracing...if your just adding Quad Tips to the stock exhaust, just get a good muffler shop to cut and reweld the tailpipes just behind the muffler to center the Quad Tips(pic below).

Sorry about the crude drawing, but this should give you an idea.

Looks great, but looks a little snug so be prepared to see your diffuser get melted/burned a lil' bit, but shouldn't really be that noticeable though.

you cant weld the side with the butterfly valve that far back because it will render the valve dead, correct? I just bought similar tips and realized this....

It's going to be close, but I'm gonna try to retain the exhaust valve. Depends on how creative the installer is willing to be...

Have you measured the the total length of the tips vs your existing tip cut line to see if you can do it after the butterfly valve without stick out to far?

I am really curious to see if this can be done in such a way that preserves the butterfly valve.

Won't it be possible to shorten those quads?
Maybe the tips can be removed, cut a bit off from the split and reweld, and then cut a bit away from the inlet pipe as well.

I'm doing the same thing with Cyba's quad diffuser just like yours. I have not installed mine yet as I am waiting on the quad tips from RennArt. I would be interested in seeing your cut out prior to installing the diffuser and how you handle the lower bumper supports. I will post pictures of mine if I get it done first for you, but one of us will be first and it could be helpful to the other.

Peace/out

I have Cybas diffuser already fitted to my bumper... but waiting for the same tips as Rugs.

Bumper hasn't been mounted back to the car. Will do that when the tips arrive - hopefully by next week.

And by then, one of you should have the solution for fitting the tips

Cyba: I haven't gone back to the bodyshop to take pics - it's holidays here til Monday.
