328i coupe RIM question *newbie*

Let me start off by saying ive been reading these forums LOTS since deciding that I was going to purchase a BMW; I would like to thank you for providing such a great place to learn, its been a real education to me

so here is my STUPID question, LoL! I have "heard" that you want to be careful with the rims that you put on your BMW, so of course...thats of some concern to me since rims are pretty much #1 on the agenda.

I was looking at the MoMo x1's (18's) I find they look good with the metallic black with chrome trim.

number one, are they SAFE
number two, what do you think
number 3, could anyone here photoshop that for me.

tall order i know, but any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

Haywire.

hey haywire..welcome to the forums..this is what i think.firstly you need to know that the bolt pattern on the e92 is 5x120..i'm unsure of the pattern on the momo..i do see alot of momo here in europe but not on bmw/merc..mostly for mid class euro cars..they are relatively safe as they do participate in rallies etc.5spoke pattern looks great but it will expose the small brakes behind them thus..the probable urge to get BBK..not necessarily a bad thing hehe..oh and the usual offsets for e92 coupe is 30f/35r should be ok..hope it helps..

ps..about your 3rd request,i suck at photoshop so maybe someone else can help you with that..

All wheels that are JWL, VIA, and TUV certified are safe. All three either meet or exceed OEM standards. MOMO is a very reputable company with many years in the wheel industry. Just go into tirerack.com and you can put any wheels on your car model.
