Launch control??? Help.

I've just completed the 1200 mile break-in in my 335is and according to the owners manual the launch control is supposed to work after break-in. Mine doesn't. What am I missing here?

I read on one site that the car comes with break-in software and needs to have the ECU upgraded/reprogrammed after 1200 miles - sounds false to me but can someone comment please?

Never heard of a need fore ECU software upgrade to release Launch Control. If you are following the procedures in your Owner's Manual (pg 70) and it is still not engaging, contact your dealer. Something is amiss.
