Vivid hasn't replied and Goodspeed said $400 for dp and fmic install. There is a condition though. Supposedly VRSF dp's aren't always perfect fit. He said if that's the case there would be a fee to machine/fix the imperfection.
Either way seems like a good quote. I'm going with Goodspeed this Friday. |

Hi
Just moved to the area from Columbus, OH and looking to see what the scene is out here and meet some fellow BMW owners. I drive a 09' 335i sedan (black) and am FBO along with 1m front, carbon splitters, 20' vossens, Remus quad exhaust. Any recommendations on a dealership and SA? I've seen a few others recommending BMW N. Scottsdale. Any pointers for us that have just moved or are planning to move? Look forward to hearing from y'all and meeting some new people. |

Idk much about dealerships. Someone else might have some thoughts on that. As far as meeting other peeps this forum is probably the best bet. On Saturday nights there's the Pavilion Mc Donalds Car Meet. Azbmwclub represents the BMW's there. Plus tons of random nice cars. I go every now and then.

BMW on Camelback is a good one, I use Andy S. He's a real nice guy and was very professional.

I visited them once, i live pretty close to them. If you're just doing an oil change and you have a coupon you're good to go.
I think w/o a coupon the 335i oil changes are $199. At least that's what they told me. The only times I think you have to worry about what place you take it to is when you're doing some hardcore wrenching. Facilities overall look very nice if that means anything.

What mods are you running to get those numbers? Since I have gotten out here the heat has been playing tricks on my car. I think it has started to adapt but it definitely feels a bit less powerful.

Once for HPFP recall work, and the other for LPF sensor replacement. I concur with Scottsdale BMW in the sense that they scare the hell out of me when they did inspection, after the work, and the cost to replace them...$7k. Even HPFP was under warranty, they'd charge tell you it'll cost $150 for the diagnostics, up front. If it is covered under warranty, then you won't pay. I only see that dealerships are there to gouge your pocket. Period! Any dealerships. |

Have you not run e85 before? It makes a difference. Almost like a shot of Andrenaline for the car.

Put in 5 gal of e85 and top the tank with 91oct. Mc clintock and Scottsdale road Valero. Then download the free e30 race map from Cobb and get the dyno results below!!! еееееее
Seeing stg2+ dyno is cool! Congrats on the power GAINZ! Chandler BMW wrecked my e90 on a test drive so I use north Scottsdale with the rte 66 warranty great service! |

I should probably check the local forums more. I live in south Tempe bordering chandler. I don't have much free time lately between work and a new baby. I'll try and make it to a meet sometime
My car is mostly stock. The only aftermarket parts I have are Linea Corse staggered 19" black wheels and OSS AEs. Quote:
Speaking of warranty, I've had a few issues with my car. Blown turbo and broken VANOS bolts. I've seen a few people mention Chapman BMW in Chandler. They were awesome every time I've taken my car in. My car has visited Chapman about 6 times for warranty and/or service since I've owned it. I've never had a bad experience. As a bonus, they change my oil every 3k under the free maintenance which is pretty amazing since some dealerships make people wait all the way to 10k. |

Yeah, ill have to try that eventually. Someone said I should upgrade to a "walbro(?)" lpfp to run e40? You ever heard of that?
And yeah the car feels amazing now. I don't sweat it when cars wanna go heads with me anymore! lol jk but srsly it's pretty nuts. My factory warranty is over, have 3rd party extended, but I said fuck it and did it anyways. Also, with the way the heat has been kicking ass these last few days I just ordered a Covercraft Sunshade, custom fit. Any experience with these? I heard they're great. We'll see in a week. Also, on the San Tan 202 today some black undercover Ford Taurus? looking cop wanted to pull me over so bad. I got on it from the onramp and since he was unmarked I didnt notice. He caught up to follow me to see how fast I was going but I saw him and slowed down. He stayed on my ass for a couple miles before he went around. Guessing he didnt have his radar and was trying to pace me but I was to quick on the brakes! lol On a final note. I got my rear tires replaced and the shop filled them to 38psi and I didn't like that feel at all. The old run flats ran @ 30psi so I am trying 34 psi right now. These are Pilot A/S 3's. Even 34 still feels a lot "floatier". Think maybe I was just so used to the stiff feel of RFT's. Its also hard to tell since I have all that power now. My ass feels like its all over the place. Drive fast drive safe AZ!!! Quote:
