I am looking to upgrade my suspension to outperform or equal a m3...

2011 e90 Msport package

What should i start upgrading?

To equal or outperform the E9x M3 you have some work to do. Either start with all the M3 bits or a decent coil over system(linear rate springs with at least rebound damping adjustment) or do both. PM, email or call me if you want to discuss this further.

Nice car. I could be wrong, but i believe the US Msport is purely cosmetic so you are starting with essentially a standard sport suspension. It's nice but far from M.

Check out my post on what I upgraded after searching the heck out of this forum and chatting with several members. Not an M but pretty darn good and now I really need the upgrade.

Short answer, If money is no object you are going to wish you just bought an M. By the time you add an LSD and all the M parts and whatever else everyone says you HAVE to have (which varies wildly), you are still not a full M but have really narrowed the price gap, especially with quality installs. Still, with a tune, it'll beat an M in a straight line.
