^^hehe just read your thread and I'm glad you two handled the situation in a mature manner. As for myself, I don't plan on getting MMW headers (I dont have the funds and my other expenses come first) any time soon but was just hoping to give feedback to the community for other options out there.

You're running your car with poor quality fuel, a faulty O2 sensor, a custom made intake and complain about getting bad MPGs. A lot of people here tried to help and all you did was arguing. Good to see you're hearing them now and hope you realize that those savings can results in huuuuuge losses.

You pay twice the price of gas; because you waste a lot. You're getting dirty injectors because you're running rich as a sheik and on the top of it; will those mods cause premature usage of your components? I hope not for you! But nobody know at this moment; not even you. Stop trying to convince yourself.

I'm not here to try to tell you what to do; its your car. But this is not my first modded car. I did that kind of mods on my old Celicas and Civics because I knew that the mods werent worth the investment, and that I was ready to accept that this could cause severe permanent damage that will make the car not worth repairing afterwards. I had my share of issues and i've learned the hard way; trust me. You dont do this on a car you want to keep; especially a bimmer. I wont get burned twice. A wise man said: You gotta pay to play!

I just hope you're conscious about this and know this car will get old FAST and that there's a 50/50 percent chances that your engine will most likely fail in the upcoming years.

So that being said, I agree, you got balls, but I just hope it doesnt backfire in your wallet.
i was gonna comment on this but ehhh for what lol

im sorry to hear about all the trouble you're having... seems like its been going for a while... maybe if you drived like a normal citizen your mileage would be better. But please excuse me if i sound 'douche-y' haha I'm bias in my writing after reading about your poor mpg and watching a video of you going 60-160 =P

It acts as a o2 so it really dosent matter if its n/a or turbo. Its still gonan trick the ECU eather way plus the only + side i see about it being for turbo cars is that its adj (not like i could use that part) But so far im uber happpy i got my gas millage back.

Not cause of the fuel i was running
Not cause my intake or other mods
Not cause half the other stuff i was told

All it needed was a ELE o2 SIM

So im happy people can say what they want. But what i did not many have done. And i knew it was gonan be alot of Trail & Error.

Total Cost $430 (for everything not including gas)

Gas usage had no correlation to your mod it was just the fact that it was against the stipulated octane level for your engine. Anyways, I am glad you got everything fixed. Thanks for confirming the BMS works. I guess there isn't much need for an offroad tune that turns cat errors off.

Two questions.

1. Does your off road tune offer more gains than standard tune?

2. Do you smell unburnt gas due to the cat removal?

I am totally teetering on whether I should go cat-less or not.

From what i was told by AA the off road tune dose adj the timing at higher rpms due to not having cats but idk the truth behind that since i didnt get a dyno. And i mean as in i went from AA's stage 1 tune to offroad tune with catless factory headers so i can compare.

Not one stink of unburnt gas i know what your talking about cause my RX7 stinks horrable like once driving in car for 10+mins your jeans and shirt smell bad!

do you plan to get a dyno done? I would like to see your headers plus their stage 2 tune on a dyno. It would be very interesting.

Pretty sure he means at the wheels, which would be roughly 30hp from headers and a tune. Sounds about right.

BTW, you made a topic about your not so secret mod You should reach 230 easy even without that mod. In fact, I would be more curious to see dynos with that mod and without it and I would bet money that you lose HP with it; 1 maybe 2 tops, but I dont think it will GET you some HP. But that's just my opinion based on nothing credible but my own thoughts.

Well as it sits now im pretty sure i picked up a few with a nice exhaust system and my factory modded box back on. And as far as my not so secret mod why would u think ide lose 1-2 hp and not gain any?

I ve contacted another member on here and he sent me dyno read outs a/f logs for the dyno with the same mod im gonna do.
And he picked up 13hp but lost 8tq so in my case i put my 2ndary cats back on ran dule res's to a magnaflow muffler all keeping the piping 2.25 to try and maintain a good ammount of back pressure since ill be losing alot.
so ya i guess we were talking about crank hp there to huh!

I know this might be a stupid question, but is it one O2 Sim enough or is it one for each sensor?

I'm already running with a muffler delete and thinking about 335's for when I finish training with the USAF. Not really sold on the idea of killing the mains and getting a tune for a car I'm not planning on keeping around too much longer.

I wanna see numbers as well. 30hp is a hell of a gain by N52 standards for N/A mods.
