Engine Problem Warning on Dash

Guys need some info/advice! Started my car this morning and had an engine warning come on with the message .... 'Engine problem, reduced power'. Something along those lines! I drove about a mile n filled up petrol, got back in n started the car n the message has not come back since. Is this going to be. Genuine problem or is the weather messing with the car? The car seems to b driving fine, power is stil their!

Could be any number of things. It will have stored an error code so fist thing to do is plug it in and get the codes read and then go from there.
