Yesterday I lost my cell phone. Turns out, I left it on top of my car, and a few miles down the road it fell off. This guy found it, and called me today. He said it looks fine and seems to be working. Going to meet up with him later today. As the title says...should I hook this guy up with some cash for the good deed?

It's a motorola q...don't know how much they are now, but I do the the insurance, so replacing it (if it had never been found/returned) would cost me 50 bucks.

I would have done the same thing the guy who found your phone did, as I'm sure a lot (if not most on this board) would have done the same. However there is no way in hell I would take any money. I probably wouldn't want to go anywhere to have lunch, or coffee.....simply because I don't know you.

For most people a heart felt thank you is going to work just fine.

If you still feel as though you have to do something, how about a $5 or $10 starbucks gift card. I still think it would be unnecessary, but I know if it were me I would appreciate the gesture.
