Are you sure that's the paint removed, and not rubber "smeared" on the rim from the mounting process? Sometimes there is a black residue that can be rubbed off.

I still have them on the car. You buy a pair like I did. You can get two wheels, you don't have to buy a set of 4. i can pM the name of the vendor for this
