The foggy marks from wax?

I am a newbie at this, I tried washing and waxing my car last week, I don't know what I did but after everything's done I see these shinny (foggy) wax remains on my car, I tried to rub it off with the microfiber towel but it stays... I'll probably won't wash or wax my car til next year but can any of you tell me how I can avoid getting those? Thanks

yea you probably applied too much wax and didnt wipe it off completely, while the wax was still soft. when you leave wax on the car for too long a time, it tends to harden and becomes much more difficult to remove after. try washing the car and then using a clay bad to remove the excess wax... always use car wash soap or a quick detailer as lube with the clay bar... its no big deal, wax comes off pretty easily.

Isn't the fog image due to not removing existing wax on the car ...different wax from the one your putting on?

if it's hard to come off, you must be using too much as mentioned already. A microfiber cloth is what I use to remove wax too. Also, you could try using some quick detailer to help take off the wax
