I recently went and with custom wedge MHD stage 2 93 octane map hit 360whp (no torque reading) on dynojet AWD dyno. Mods in signature.

Almost 400 TQ and 360 HP, not really that impressive, sorry.
I did stuff like that on my proceed 1.47 in 2007, lol.

Care to prove it, lawl.. ?

And, while you MAY have hit the peak numbers, it does not mean it was a good tune, or had any power under the curve.

Numbers are pretty good for an OTS map. These are OFT stage 1, Cobb stage 1+FMIC, JB4 map 2 without DPs type numbers. This is about where you want to be on a mostly stock vehicle running 93 octane. You can't exactly run 21 psi and 14 deg of timing on 93 octane on a stock N54 with intercooler. Doesn't matter if its the year 2007 or 2027. Numbers are never going to get anymore impressive than around this ballpark. Using MHD is not about the tunes/dyno numbers. its about using your damn phone as the tool, tune switching, the logging module, 21psi boost logic (which I'll probably never need) and using your damn phone as the tool (if your already on android especially attractive).

the tunes are about the tuner. despite new tables being open and boost logic changes for higher boost nearly none of it is that useful to you non ground breakers. For anything FBO and under I'll take a great tuner all day on 2013 flash tuning tech than an average tuner on 2016 tech. Your going to soon find out like on other platforms with completely cracked ECUs once you get DEEP into ECU tables there are only going to be a handful of tuners who even have a clue to understanding and what to do with them. More is only better in the right hands...I'm rambling.

It's an entirely different game when tuning flash only
How would I go about getting you and/or Wedge to do a custom tune for me? If you're pulling down 400whp on 93 pump gas, I'd like to talk to you guys more. As I said, I'm not really interested in messing with catless DPs, DCIs, meth, or e85 mixtures. So what other magic can you guys work?

No, I am running with E40. I know you are talking about pump gas, but I was just letting you know that I am also non-fbo and running the E40 map.

Last year I had Ken (Wedge) make me a custom 93 pump gas map and it was way better than the stock maps from Cobb or OFT. Then he talked me into running E30 mix and made me a killer map. When MHD came out I decided to try the new E40 map. Between Ken having more years under his belt and the help of BuraQ, this tune is amazing! I'm not a 1/4 mile guy, but I went to the track anyways just to see how this tune stacks up. I pulled a 12.2, so this is a very strong map for a non-fbo.

Either way you go, Ken will take care of you.

Good numbers OP
I wish you had baseline so we can get a better idea how much HP you gained

I though 360whp was pretty standard on a stock car running 91/93 octane with a tune. The jb4 advertises a 100 hp (80whp) gain with a stock car. Jb4 advertises stock 270whp to 360whp with a stock car. So what makes this mhd tune any better than a normal jb4?

Numbers will be the same but the way the power is delivered won't.

MHD + Wedge custom map works out cheaper than JB4, especially if you already have a DCAN cable and android device.

A lot of the failings of the JB4 are rectified by using the MHD backend flash. But then you are essentially just using the JB4 for its features.

There is no "best' tune . each option has its positive and negative.
In terms of power all tunes are equal.
At the end of the day the best solution is always flash tune + JB4 to get the best of each world.

When you have a jb4 and the mhd back end flash what map are we suppose to leave the jb4 on?

Jb4 controls boost, MHD controls everything else

I have the last iteration Proceed. Been gone forever. Got tied up with school and work so no time to play. My question is can I remove the Proceed and just run your flash? Just curious. Funny I have been trying to sell this car I supposedly dont need but at 55K miles now and can't get interested in the new generation cars for some reason and am hooked on my E92. I went to dealer a few times to trade it for something newer, but every time I just keep prefering my E92. Even LandRover dealer tried to get me to trade it in both time I was buying a range rover from them and I just couldn't let it go. Last time they offered to swap a used 2011 911 Carrera, plus some cash. Deal was decent, Carrera was nice, it just lacked the speed and muscular feel my tuned 335 has. They were pretty surprised I wont give it up even when they offered a decent trade.

I have never quite been hooked like this by a car before except an 1992 Mr2 Turbo I had which was the smoothest most pleasant car to drive I ever had. Those car still going for barely 5K less than our cars! Talk about holding value. And that smooth as butter high revving Turbo engine with a 9000 rpm red line.

Yeh, just unplug the Proceed and flash with MHD.

I know what you mean about the E92. I still miss mine. The Z4 handles a lot better but the E92 was a comfier car and has less road noise on long journeys.
