I suggest you get a multimeter and see if you can use the license plate lights or the reverse lights depending on how long the camera takes to start.

Already tried the reverse and license plate lights. Both work when car is off, but not when car is running.

Thanks, I'll try to dig in there tonight and tap those power wires and see if it works.
