E92 Individual Audio vs. Standard door panel differences?
I am looking to swap the interior (seats + door panels) due to color preference in an E92 coupe. The donor car only had the base audio system, the recipient car has Individual Audio.
Am I correct in understanding that for the donor's front panels, I can simply swap over all the Individual Audio speakers and that's it? For the rear door panels I see the recipient Individual Audio car has two speakers. This presents a problem as the donor rear panels have only one speaker cutout... I suppose I can drill in a new bracket for the rear door panel tweeter from the Individual system; or I can just leave the tweeter out as rear fill isn't a concern? Anything else I am missing?

Coupe and Sedan Panels are not the same size .
I have noticed in some of the installs here the Sedan's tend to have particle board like materiel on the inside of the panels where the coupes have more of a plastic inner side to the door panels. Since you are showing the picture of a coupe and sedan. A lot of people think rear speakers are a wast here. The tweeter pods for the front doors are relatively cheap. |

This is with respect to an E92, I never made a reference to an E90 lol.

So is there anything else I should know about the swap or am I correct with my assumptions?

You can just swap the front door cards, plug and play
You have 2 choices for the rears. 1: cut the hole for the tweeter (there is a guide on the rear of the door card, use the inner template for the cut out. 2: just use the main speaker cone and dont use the tweeter. if you dont use the tweeter you will need to make a jumper up so that the speaker works (1x 3pin plug with 1-3 connected together), otherwise the speaker is open circuit and no sound is produced. No bracket is required, the tweeter has everything needed to mount it in the door card. If you do do the cutout, please take some pics, I did the individual install yesterday (i left out the tweeters, but will be doing them at some point).
