new hifi alpine retrofit: gong and pdc sounds too low

Although there's a post about the hifi alpine retrofit I'd like to get attention to this problem. My dealer told me there's no solution from BMW about this yet.

I've got a 2010 E90 LCI model with a professional radio headunit. After installing the new version of Hifi Alpine retrofit the PDC and gong sounds coming from the rear speakers are way too low compared to as they were before the retrofit.

The kit No is 65 41 2 163 268.
The previous version is not affected. Removing the retrofit is not an option as there's huge difference to the default speakers system.

Anyone is aware of this problem and has any news about this?
Any help will be appreciated.

Have you tried increasing the volume for the gongs and pdc? what are they currently set to?

oh, yes. The setup is set to +5 for each.
That's not the problem.

Do you know if the kit is the old or the new one? Did you install it?
Do you have the professional radio?
The new kit needs coding.

The kit is provided by BMW and it is installed by the dealer, so I don't think another amp is related to this.
To install this kit a coding of the car is needed according to the instructions I got. I think that the coding is not properly programed and turns down the volume for PDC and gong.

I have the same issue on my lci e93, but i used the pre-lci kit...

On Post lci cars, bmw suggests coding, maybe that is required to sort this?

Still not sure on the matter...

Good that you sorted it out

There shouldn't be problems with pre-lci kit. Maybe mine is also wrongly wired but the dealer did it, so I have to think they know what they do.
