^ anerbe, the amber delete looks really nice. Wish I could of done this when I had my black E90.

I haven't shared pics yet, but it's been about a month now since I picked this up.... CPO 2009 328i. Coming from a 2005 Volvo S40. Very different car, loving every minute of it, but unfortunately I'm getting the upgradeitis bug, and am watching all of these threads on intakes, exhausts, muffler deletes, carbon filter deletes, spring lowering kits, etc etc etc.... :

woooow! That looks beautiful! I'm getting the same way with the modbug, it's a horrible sickness once you catch it.. There's not cure. Sean always has to put up with my texts of this and that about upgrades haha

lol yea, I drive my friends nuts with talking about my car now... just as I did driving them nuts about taking about cars in general when I was shopping.

First mod was the most important... Picking up the Bently's Service Manual

For better or worse though, there are few mods I can do now since I'm busy spending my money on payments on the car :-/

I'm in the same boat as you. Got windows tinted, a roof spoiler (that fits kinda crappy thanks to JL Motoring -.-) rims, mirror covers, some nice form fitting floor mats, emblems, i might debadge, i am not sure yet. What is the Bently's Service Manual?

It's THE service manual for DIY service (routine or otherwise). Check it out here.

Yeah, no spoilers for me, though I am digging that rear diffuser that is so popular among the 335 crowd, but why do anything like them as they constantly remind me/us that I/we drive slow-pokey 328is (I'm very very happy with my 328i TYVM!).

My car came with the windows tinted. I thought it was great, but noticed scratches in it.... They weren't factory tints though (supposedly there is no such thing, they're all just contracted out to a local tint shop by the stealership). I've picked up a nice set of floor mats since the ones that came with the car were pretty ratty.

Anyway, get involved in TSE, and hopefully I'll see ya there!

Have you been to a TSE meet yet? I am looking forward to going to the next one.. What is it? Just dinner? Fancy restaurant or something or just dress however you usually do? I got some weathertech mats that are awesome. My car is plenty fast for me

actual tours are drives through parts of SE MI.

Welcome! Always nice to meet another MI local. If you're free, there is a slight meet on the 25th called TSE. It is from 4-6 pm at Bar 7 in West Bloomfield, if you're interested, there's a few of us going and would always be nice to have another!
