So what's did you order? Options? Color? At least you'll get the March 2007 changes - I just missed them by a couple of months. oh well. I'm just glad I'll be picking up my car soon!

You must be getting really excited, just a little while longer for you. My options are alpine white, beige leatherette, steptronic w/paddle shifters, sport package, CA, PDC, rear fold down seats.

Good luck with the waiting! This forum helps a lot - there's a lot of useful info here. Yeah, I'm pretty stoked about picking her up in a couple of weeks. Now I just gotta get rid of my E46 M3.

You can apply online at bmwcca.org. The Hawaii chapter has a website at bmwccahawaii.com. Check it out! The $40 for membership is definitely worth it, especially if you buy parts - BMW of HNL will give you a 10% discount on parts. Plus you can get a rebate when you buy a new BMW - I'm getting $500 for my new 335, which is nice. There's also a 15% discount on cell service from Sprint.

Where to go for aftermarket parts installation?

All,

Where do you all go for your aftermarket parts installation? Please tell me I'm not the only one who doesn't want to go the DIY route (for installing H&R Sport Springs, and Mtec Super White H8).

Sorry, I don't have any experience w/ mods for springs, but if I had to guess, I would say eurosport is a good place to start. As far as the lights - based on the DIY here, it doesn't seem that difficult.

Thanks, someone referred me to Bavarian Motor Experts, but apparently they don't have the tools to work on '07 models yet.

Good luck! I've also heard good things (thru the CCA) about BME.

H&R Sport Springs

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the off-topic post, but I didn't know how often you all checked the Marketplace forum. I'm going to be living in Japan for a few years and will be selling my E92 (in a few months). Because of that, I decided not to install the H&R Sport Springs I recently purchased. I have a "For Sale" post in the Marketplace forum, and wanted to let the Hawaii E92 owners know about it. See my link in that forum for details.

Hello all - I have been lurking in the backround for a couple months now but decided to start seeing what was on island since I will be back there soon (hopefully with my e93)

I was wondering if there were any other e93's out on the island yet. I am in the Army and ordered one but I am curious to see how many others I will see on the road. Thanks and I look forward to contributing to this forum more in the future

Wow this thread is really slow... how 'bout everyone subscribe to it and we can keep it interesting?

Anyway, I haven't seen a single E93 yet and I'm not going to be adding to that count... 1) I thought it'd be too hot and 2) I really need the trunk space.

Cool

Hi all, I just kind of stumbled onto this thread. Normally I hang out at bimmerforums.com, they have a pretty active Hawaii thread going there. Usually they post about a couple of meets/month. Here's the link: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...play.php?f=184

FYI, I'm in the Army as well, currently at Ft. Leavenworth, KS but will be arriving in HI by July 1st or so. I've got an old (but mint-condition) 83 320i (E21), and just bought a brand-spankin' new 335i (sedan)...haven't even taken delivery yet, it' supposed to dock in Charleston (SC) tomorrow. I should have it by the first week of June, get to drive it a couple of weeks or so, then I have to put her on the boat (again...) Haven't decided on a shipper yet, but hopefully they will be able to have her there within 30 days of dropping her off (on the west coast.)

Oh, here's the specifics: Monaco blue, Terracotta leather w/dark wood, Steptronic A/T (hey, it's the wife's car...!), Sport & Prem pkgs, Comfort Access, rear sunshades, and Sirius. (I want to be prepared if/when they get Sirius working in HI... ) List price was about $47,450, gettting it for about $46,500.

Looking forward to some meets & G2G's with the rest of the Bimmer-freeks on Oahu!! Oh I also have an R1200GS motorcycle, if anyone has a "Beemer" also...

Greg

I was thinking of getting it, but mine's leased and I don't really want to deal with any end of lease hassles. Thus no tint or clear bra. But I heard that T&T's is the most reasonable in town, although they don't use the 3M film that is supposedly the best. There's a local rep for the 3M film, but I never heard of him before. You can find his contact info through the 3M product website.

Thanks for the info, I'll try to contact that local rep. Anyone else with info on the clear bra?
