Major squeaking after installing D2 coilovers?? Please look! (it's not the spacers)

You mean the bushings at the top of the struts that you access through the trunk? I reused those per instructions via the D2 install manual. The car only has 35k miles on it...

Yes, what is the condition of them? it wouldn't hurt to lube them anyways incase that is what is causing the squeak

Haven't been able to take a picture of the bushings due to work lately, BUT I did adjust the dampening on both sides (they were all jacked up on both sides, so i set them both to 1 and then adjusted both to 18 clicks aka right between hard and soft and the car is squeaking less now *its a 36 way adjustable dampening* so if i adjust more to stiff or soft will that lessen the noise more?

I have the exact same noise coming from the from of my car. I suspect it's the bushings. Once i change my bushings, I will see if that fixes the noise and I will update you

Ok cool. How much does it cost to replace the bushings? Any luck so far?

Are you sure your rear tires arent just rubbing? The rear fenders are ridiculously square.

No and the reason I say that is because when I hit a big dip in the road I can hear the tires rub. Makes an obvious noise, however just normal driving doesn't make it unless I go over some rough terrain. The roads here in NC are complete garbage.... A terrible place for lowered cars :-(

What I will say though is that once I adjusted and matched my dampening on the front and back (25 clicks out of 36 on the front and back) compared to 0 on the front before (which I was unaware of) and like 10 ish on the left rear and like 15 on the right rear.....

I bought these used from another member here so yeah.... Not too sure what he was going with all that, but like I was saying now that they're all the same @ 25 clicks both front and back it doesn't seem to make as much noise. It still does but it's definitely less than before.

Oh and btw, I need to figure out a way to post pics from mobile because after examining the front coilovers I noticed that one side isn't completely even... I'll have to post a pic so you what I'm talking about, but that could also pose a possible problem.

Maybe the sway bar end links and/or bushings. I am not sure on greasing them, so research yourself, but have read when you lower a car you may pre-load your sways and that effect is noticeable going over bumps and turning...althouch usually you'll hear a thump with it. Also, were the tires changed @ when the weather started getting cold?

I'd go through and hit all the door seals with 1Z Gummi Pflege and maybe apply Dow corning 111 on all the rubber bushings I can access' maybe even taking the sway bushings off in order to lube them.

Cheap coilovers make noise, squeaking is normally caused from the internal damping design, ie, piston movement and oil flow within the shock.

I have REALLY cheap coilovers and they dont make a sound.

Side Note:
Car made weird creaks at doors when going down curbs after new suspension. It was not door panel movement. The rubber gasket on the door side rubs on the door trim more with the stiffer suspension and dries out. The boards direct you to some rubber moistening compound you can buy on Amazon for 10 bucks. Was doubtful, but one application and all creaks gone - pretty cool.
