Where to begin....

I knew I wasn't going to keep this car long so I really went the cheap route on the downpipes. I bought these PLM 3" downpipes from eBay for $300.

They do kind of fit, they bolt up to the turbos fine, the O2 sensors fit without colliding or grounding out to the chassis - but they are a little off where they meet the mid-pipe. I sort of solved this issue by using two gaskets on each flange. I took it to an exhaust shop with N54 experience and they said everything looks good. What I am confusing with exhaust leak noise is actually just a result of the thin walls on the downpipes allowing resonation of the combustion to be heard a bit louder outside of the vehicle when the engine is cold.

I did have to bend a good bit of heat shielding to get these not to rattle, but since my wastegates are already an orchestra of chaos to begin with, I am not really sure what I hear anymore.

I know I didn't really paint a good picture of these downpipes, but I am really honest person and want you to know what you are getting yourself into. When it comes down to it, they do work - and according to this exhaust shop, they do not appear to leak.

These will be perfect if you are like me and not that serious about modding your car and just want to mess around with higher maps without a lot of investment. They have about 200 miles on them and never saw rain.

They are yours for $100 cash. The power increase alone make these worth that price.

Check eBay for pics and specs. These are still on my car, I will remove them in the next week.

as much as id want to flame you, mods are you choice and you have made good points and GLWS. 100 bucks is a deal, dont work out, you could get more for them.

I have one potential buyer pending, I will take these off the car in the next few days and if the sale falls through they are first come first serve. I am not negotiable in price unfortunately - these aren't perfect but they aren't complete junk either.
