EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED (Remove the stock intake box)

Trying to replace the stock intake with the Vishnu DCI I received this afternoon.
I already took off 80% of the stuff but just can't pull out the stock intake box.
Can someone give me a call and tell me how to do it?

(425)204-8777

Have to get it done tonight otherwise can't drive to work tomorrow.

Please help!!

Just pull real hard - the 3 rubber grommets underneath that hold the stock airbox to the manifold can be stubborn.

Take a deep breath, then pull fucking hard on that damn stock airbox. All should be OK.
Don't be afraid, it won't break.

If you thought that was frustrating, now try to put the stock airbox back on.

Haha, I remember doing that at a dyno day last year. After swearing up a storm it took two of us to get that damn rear hose connected back up.

Tip: If you need to do it, do it when the engine's still hot (but obviously not hot enough to liquefy your skin).

How's everything going with the PROcede? Did you ever get any more info about that boost issue?

Took me three and half hours to put everything together.
Finally have it done before my bed time.
It was kind of hard to put the rear cone in place as well.
I still don't know if I have it in the right spot.
Maybe you guys can take a look for me on 17th.

I emailed Shiv and Dustin the 2nd gear pull data we gathered last time but Dustin claimed that it was too short so he needs to see the 3rd gear pull as well.

i don't know why you guys are experiencing the difficulties on intake... took me 10 minutes at most now to put it on or take it back out, after number of dealer trips...

It gets a lot easier once you give in and start taking stuff out of the engine bay to make room for hands and feet. And like Eric said, do it when the engine / hose plastic is still warm!

I had the struggle of a lifetime getting my BMS DCI in. It took me and another guy and some beat up hands nut around 11pm we finished what I figured would be a half hour job. Now I'm a little terrified about putting the stock back on when I finally go in to get the wastegate problem fixed. Any idea about Bellevue's intake/warranty voiding policy?

you could either be the first one to make a report on that policy or be like the rest of us and stay under the radar...
