Well, just got back from the test drive and ppi . The shop owner advised that there was a significant oil leak from the rear main seal. Other concerning problems that were noted.. codes stored in every module..for battery and trans shift delay were pretty worrisome. Also noted that the heat shield bolt was cross threaded into the block..a sign that someone with low skill worked on the car. Other than that it drove great and had no turbo rattle.

I passed on it. The seal and trans code were too big of risks for me. Beautiful car though, I will find one in the future.

Woot, already found another one. For $3k more, I get cold weather package, clear title, one owner with every maintenance at a BMW dealer on the car fax, water pump already replaced, one year newer (2 production years), oil cooler installed, better interior with X drive, sport paddles, and same mileage.
