What diffuser works on standard rear bumper?

I have the standard non-sport bumper without a diffuser. I know it requires cutting but I've read there is a certain diffuser(s) that work and come out well. Anyone?

EDIT: I should also mention I just got a brand new standard bumper and frshly painted at BMW themselves less than a month ago. Doubt anyone would want to swap but if your looking to trade and you have a sport bumper JET BLACK im down. But since its so new... I rather not pay the money for another new bumper.

Best route is just to go with the m-tech..it has those aggressive grooves along the center. Can't beat them with the stock one.

None that I've ever heard of. There are some dual to quad exhaust conversions out there, but those just enlarge the openings on a 335 bumper to accomodate a quad exhaust.

Hamann makes one for the standard non M-sport bumper and I believe Cyba sells replicas.

They have them...I bought one and it took 3 months to get to me and I haven't put it on yet. There is no picture of it on the website though. It's about the same size as the Hamann one mentioned earlier.

Im not feeling the ones that look like they just sit on top of your exhaust tips.. I want the one you actually have to cut to use... looks like a real diffuser

are you saying to just get an mtech bumper? cause surely the mtech diffuser doesnt just fit on a standard bumper which is what I have and im trying to figure out. New bumper would be almost a grand after purchase of it plus paint and install. Not looking to pay anymore than a few hundred at most.

I saw one on a coupe yesterday and was wondering. He had to cut his bumper but it was very cool. It was a stock bumper that had a diffuser.

He was ahead of me in traffic and I couldn't catch up to ask.
I'd like one for my car as well.

Yes get an mtech bumper. Get a replica just remember to check that it's made from polypropylene just like OEM. Just install it yourself with help from a friend. It'll save you a bill or 2.

The bumper plus paint is still going to bee 700ish. Bmw just replaced my bumper and its brand new paint. No reason to get new one.. Unless someone is interested in the bumper

I got a rep Mtech rear bumper painted and installed for no more than $500.

Yes I know its now BMW paint, but the match/blend is perfect with the car. If you dont wanna spend that, hold out for someone parting out. I always see posts with members trying to trade there Mtech bumper for stock.

Id rather see stock rather than a cut up stock bumper with some funky diffuser thats been added on.

You can just paint the bottom section in a matte or gloss black so that it looks like a diffuser. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with mtech rears.

I was contemplating my options here as well. Probably going mtech. I've been avoiding the $700 price of admission as well, factoring in shipping and paint.

I am still in search of this. I repainted my front and rear bumper last year and spent a pretty penny on it so I don't want to replace them with another. Yet I really wanted a diffuser.

Does anyone have a link to a reputable company that makes a rear diffuser for a non-sport E92?

Dude I have been reading this thread and I remember the one your thinking about. Forget who made it but its not available anymore plus it was more then a couple hundred bucks. And still didnt look as aggressive as the msport bumper because of the missing lines that the OEM bumper doesn't have. Sounds like you want it the looks but don't want to pay for it, who cares if you got a free bumper painted from BMW its the stock one and worthless on here as most want to upgrade to msport
