Downpipes with JB4, Just install and play?

I am getting downpipes tomorrow, and I already have a JB4 installed,

Does it just recognize them or is there a setting I need to set for the CEL not to go off?

I'm sure this has been answered many times but I'm asking again

Won't that delete all codes?
If something is happening that throws a CEL I want to know about it?

Suite

So speedo 1 and tach 2 for the current JB4 with the G5 ISO chips right?

according to n54tech.com that option is "Delete all codes" (meaning as Tiago just pointed out ONLY emissions codes)

So lets say I get something like a misfire code (because that never happens lol) That wil still come through?

Yes youll get a misfire code, or any other boost leak code for a short period of time. Then the auto clear will eventually clear the codes. So best bet is, turn auto clear off while u have code, drive to safe area(home preferablly, get laptop and scan codes.

Yes.
Just install the Jb4 and DP and enjoy
Most cars will not get any codes...if you do just drive for a short while and then clear it.
You should not get the code back anymore.

I have JB4 G5 and I have SES light come on because of DP. It throws the emission related codes but I can live with that and the SES because I don't want it to clear an important code.

The Jb4 will still show codes, it will auto clear emissions related codes, but even miss fires will still pop up. If they do, they will clear after a little bit and you just just shut off auto clear and scan it then. No worries about that. It would drive me effing nuts staring at a CEL haha.

Guys I keep getting codes 29F4 and 29F5

I have DP's and a JB4 w ISO
Basically the car is FBO,

Am I missing something? Shouldn't the JB4 automatically clear these codes?

If you don't have cats you're going to get those codes. You can turn them off with the backend flash (which I highly recommend if you haven't done that already).

Thos are codes from catless downpipes. The JB would need to be engaged to delete them as it does not do so out of the box. (auto code clear on - menu1 option3)

I was told there is no more auto clear option on the new firmware due to emissions stuff here in california..
