DIY 7" VRSF Intercooler

Here are a few pics from the job hopefully it helps a few. I know I had looked before to see how I needed to cut the shroud.

Great DIY but I'm more of a video type of guy.

yea sorry about that, after I got it all the way installed my wife came out and told me I should have taken pics since there was no DIY for it originally haha! if I was smart I would have taken pics of the shroud cutting since that's what has a lot of people confused apparently.

Adding to the body of knowledge, I had to use a Dremel to cut off the passenger side hose clamp. The part you pry to remove was inaccessible on mine. Also I used a little furniture assembly tool that was 10 mm to finish tightening the hose clamps. The clamp screw was too long for a standard socket. It was also short enough I could turn it easily. Finally when you cut with a wheel the plastic don't dig in. Tap it. If the plastic heats up to much it gums up the wheel. Hope this helps.

Great pics! Most DIYs don't show what/where the shroud needs to be cut in the first place.

Also, hanger bolts + nuts aren't a bad idea for securing the intercooler. I went with these:

How did you guys end up attaching the undertray to the bumper again? The stock bolts obviously would have gone straight through the intercooler, so I just used zip ties for now.
