2011 E93 m-sport - does everyone use RFT?

I switched my 550i from RFT to standard years ago and didnt look back....BUT the car has a spare tire.

My e93 m-sport does not have a spare. I have ERS with Geico if I had an emergency flat tire. but that is a pain in the rear.

looking at tire rack, they offer two sets of RFTs. Bridgestone Potenza and Pirelli p-zero. My OEM tires are Pirelli. four tires (not including install) are $1350 or $1550 respectively. ALOT of money for rubber.

the other options on Tire Rack include Michelin Pilot super sports for $1050...$300 savings. Or drop to Kumho's and spend $750. HALF the price.

What does everyone do with their e90s with no spare tire??

thx
Jim

I ran non rfts on my m3 and my current 335i. Keep in mind even on rfts you have to get it fixed/repaired within 50 miles. As long as you have AAA or similar towing options i'd go non rft. You can't have a spare when you have a staggered set up anyway unless you carry two. I'd go michelin pss.

thx. I am thinking the same. Michelin PSS and put a fix a flat kit in the trunk.

Any truth to PSS have better treadlife than others? Michelin claims it....

Do it. I switched to PSS on my E93 IS with 19's. Couldn't be happier. Better ride, handling and less noise than the POS brickstones. Too soon for treadlife report.
