Yea, still expensive., hahaha
In Japan, you can get the PIAA kit, which has been proven to work. Also, there are other kits like Bellof as well.

Well, I got the kit eve before piaa released/produced thier kit.

It was last winter.

The Bellof kit has been around for several years already. They had the kit when I bought my '04 C320 back in Sept 03

Pretty sure they'll work here. However, I'm not sure about the cost. Last I checked they seem to run expensive......

What is causing the car to throw the error? is it the high voltage or the low wattage? i am guessing the fogs take 55 watt and it is only seeing 35?

Hey OP, i did a bunch of research and the verdict I've stumbled across is that you need BOTH a relay and the load resistors you bought off ebay. I've tried each "fix" separately and nothing worked, but there are members on here who have done both and it works! I'm going to try this when I'm not feeling lazy, GL!

i didnt know mtec hid for the fogs have errors. about to get some myself. there are replica kits out there so beware.
