I love the fact that people in bonny Scotland insist on pebble dashing their houses.

I've always wondered why they did that in Scotland.
Gorgeous bike though. I'm not into bikes but I can see the attraction of that, it looks fantastic. I'm assuming something like that would be pretty expensive?

If you draw a line across Scotland level with Falkirk, the outer skin of the inner cavity wall is wet for 360 days a year. We need roughcast up here - even though it is dull as ditchwater.
20 - 30 years ago when speculative house building really took off, some national housebuilders started building estates up here using a national standard specification which meant facing brick finish and not roughcast. To their cost, they learned the hard way that facing brick which was suitable for the South of England, spalled, cracked, and was, generally, porous in Scotland. And they got stung when they found out they had to put sarking board on their pitched roofs as tiles on battens with Type 1F just didn't cut it. Then they got stung again when they found out that they couldn't discharge the kitchen water into an open hopper. |

Very nice bit of kit. Although I've never really got the super lightweight bike thing. I'd have thought, if you want to get fit, then the heavier the better?

I consider it a bargain at £1200. You can but the exact same frame branded as pedal force for £3000+. Most carbon bikes are manufactured in the far east and if the moulds are owned by the factory they can produce the same bike minus the graphics/brand name and sell it for a fraction of the cost.
If I get a flat smooth stretch of road with little to no wind I can easily over take cars that are doing 30mph. |

Is that for the whole bike brand new!! Thats a good price, very envious...
I want one of these but the last time I checked it was £6k...one of the guys at work has something very similar though...only problem is no one has ever seen it because his feels its too precious to ride Instead I have my trusty £200 bike from Halfords, used every day rain or shine..I particularly like my "shopping bag" mod, helps to keep my bum dry |

I've got a Commencal Meta 55 for doing that stuff
Much like the guy gangzoom works with this'll be my good weather bike. It won't see mud or even rain for that matter. |
