the 2/21 update for Map 5 is good, but i think they're still tweaking.

am i correct?

once they finalize, i'll hook up my USB, run the update and then switch to Map 5.

I get the feeling there may be a few more firmware updates for ALL maps, especially MAP 5.

map 2 log and e bay intercooler.

hey, that intercooler is great for stage 1 and 2 cars. 14-15 psi (map 2). Save your money and get an ETS if 15 is not enough. I have a used e bay intercooler I can send you for $150 plus shipping. Here is a map 2 log with it.

2 add-ons are crucial: bigger intercooler and catless downpipes.

Catless downpipes

Will downpipes void my certified 2yr/50,000 mile warranty?

Getting 15psi out of it just fine. Its 18psi that has a 2 psi pressure drop. Anyone on jb3 map 7, jb4 map 5 or map 2 will see crazy temp drops. My car is now super fast with this xo2 in it. I was looking for less stress on my turbo's, not more. HP is not my true goal with this mod. Once I installed it and drove it, the extra pull from 3K on was addicting. I simply need a model that is a bit more efficient from 15psi to 18psi. 90 % of the 54 drivers are 15psi or less. Even the nos guys are at 15 so there are a few cars this unit will work just fine for. My issues were with my charge pipe. I opted to go with the longer pipe with no rubber elbow. This put some stress on the silicone connections. I customized the pipe (cut and beaded) and its all good to go! At 15 psi or less. Just look at the last log.

Back on track... JB4 allowed me to run map 2 with amazing results! I think thats what OP is trying to do???

You would have to remove them before service.
Also dont forget they throw a ses light so you would need either a bms do fix or if your in the market for a tune, procede comes with a dp fix.

The JB4 has built in o2 sims but you need to turn it on. Its off by default.
