I have a 2011 330d M Sport and wonder if anyone has fitted thicker ARB / sway bars to reduce a little bit of roll?

I fully understand it's an estate car (and a diesel one at that), but it would be nice if it felt a little less wobbly.

I see Eibach offer front and rear bars that are a few mm thicker, worth a go?

Ideally I'm not wanting to lower my car as I play drums and often fill the boot with gear. I'd just like to reduce side to side roll.

Eibach, KW and H&R makes them. The E93 M3 (cabrio) roll bars are also thicker, but not necessarily cheaper.

The front sway bar is a quick replacement. The rear one needs the subframe to be lowered.

I haven't done it myself yet, but just replacing the front one seems to reduce roll a lot.

Would a coupe ARB fit the estate chassis?

I think the OEM E91 rear is maybe 12mm or something, it's tiny!

They look ridiculous! 12 mm, 13 mm on M Sport vehicles. The coupé has the 13 mm (same part number) on both.

Anyways, I guess the H&R after market ARB kit is the cheapest option.

12mm, 13mm or 50mm doesn't really tell you much about the stiffness of the ARB. You need to factor in the material the ARB is made out of, whether is solid or hollow and of course the design.

You could get an OEM xi/E93 15mm rear bar:

For the front, one of the M3 variants should work very well with your stock suspension...you'll have to search and weight the pros/cons of each.

I changed mine front and rear to HR versions
Rear is a pain. Entire subframe has to come off.
It's much stiffer with those.
