R1 Concepts eLine

So it was time to replace pads in the rear. So I went ahead and did some shopping. I was set in getting the Stoptech crossed drilled slotted along with pads, but I found the eLines for right around the same price. Doing some more searching Amazon was selling them for $247, called R1concepts, and they said it's correct and fitment is correct. Their customer service was spot on, and went ahead and just took the order over the phone. I never even had to deal with Amazon. Rotors and pads on a few days later and stops quick. Less dust and sounds great. So far pretty happy with experience!

Share some pics! I installed R1 Carbon Geomet Series drilled and slotted last week and I absolutely love them. They were on a Labor Day sale $345 for all four. Paired with some Akebono brake pads literally zero dust in over a week. I posted a few pictures here if you're interested...

I've used them in a few of my cars. there great, i believe there manufactured in california.

You should search there ebay links, for some reason there deals are better on ebay. There slightly cheaper and they usually throw in free sensors. I also believe there a vendor on here.

Yeah they are on California. I'm in Oregon so I got them in a few days with shipping. Noise is minimal. Yeah my buddy got a set on eBay with sensors. He has a 135i. He paid around $400. I'll get some pics up when I'm off this weekend. Just rained so wheels are a little dirty.

the noise comes from the pads not the rotors. I have slotted and drilled rotors with ceramic metallic pads. THe ceramics makes a slight noise when you reverse if your from a cold start but goes away once there warmed up. If you have the radio on when you start your car, you won't hear it.

But the ceramics have way less brake dust.
