As far as I'm aware Clifton the LCI CCC hard-drive based navigation requires a different download link because the one above is only for the DVD-based CCC navigation systems which is from the pre-lci BMW's. I was told that you need more than the just the disc to upgrade your hard-drive based CIC Pro Navigation system. The disc can be easily downloaded on the internet, but you need a BMW FSC code to "upgrade" to the latest nav/maps I was told. Try GPS underground website.

Good luck!

Stealthy looking 335i you got there

+1 BMW Performance exhaust is definitely a must for a BMW I wish it was available on the E60 and E70.
Not a problem Robert, happy to help. It was great chatting with you today and I hope you will own a 135/335i soon.

If you have an LCI car with Business navigation (6.5" display) that is neither DVD based nor hard-drive based, then you probably have a flash-memory based system (or CIC Basic).

The best way to confirm is to go into iDrive and check the version of your navigation maps. My guess is it'll be something like "Road Map Australia/New Zealand MOTION 20xx" (where MOTION=Business, PREMIUM=Professional).

If that's the case, you'll need to update via USB (as I think LCI Business nav only came with CD drive, not DVD). You'll need the CIC MOTION maps and an FSC code. Refer to _ink's post (#4) re FSC code.

More info here...
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=664199

PS - You may want to wait a couple of months for the 2013 CIC maps to be released.

Hi Guys,

I've been searching around for a copy of the Australian Professional Maps (2011 and above) to update my 2008 CCC based iDrive map data but am not having much luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction (other than going to a dealer to fork out big $$)?

There used to be a few RS links floating about of the ISO however since the RS changes most shared links have been disabled.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Share or Group Buy

Hi,

I had to buy the 2012 BMW Professional Navigation DVD for Australia, it works in my 2005 E60 BMW.

Happy to share at a minimal cost of say $25 posted within Australia, or share in a group buy for the latest version.

Kind Regards, Ken

also would be keen to know. but i use my phone mostly for nav, but the ccc satnav function that helps you determine your bearings and road you're currently on has been useful on countless occasions for me.

I'm pretty sure they stopped support for CCC back in 2014 or 2015?

$100... Dealer wants 3 times that

Happy to pay a reasonable price from a third party. Just found the following thread:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...1#post20499735

This might help others.

Also thanks for your offer DR-JEKL. If I don't have any luck I might take you up on your offer

I'm not speculating. I actually did mine 3 ish months ago (maybe a touch more). Was $90 for the maps and $45 labour to install onto the HDD from memory. Was done at Sylvania BMW in Sydney. You're welcome to call and check. Dealer has gotten much more reasonable lately.
