Ordered 328i Coupe Crimson Red for ED

Well I just got the production number for March 9th pickup

2007 328i Coupe Crimson Red, Dakota Black Leather, Dark Burl Walnut Wood trim, 6MT, premium, sport, navi, comfort access and heated seats. $1200 over ED invoice = $38695+TTL

This will be my first BMW .. been waiting a long time for this... and will now have to wait even longer to go to Munich and again wait for it to come back. But man it will be sweet once here.

Remember, the key to a succesful/stressfree ED is proper preparation. Have a good read at all the ED threads either here or bimmerfest.

I know what you mean... we are doing ED with my wife and my 18month old (he'll be 20 month at pickup) and I have been reading up on all things ED here and on bimmerfest.

I checked out the rear seat on coupe and it doesnt look too bad for a carseat and hopefully he will enjoy it too as he loves cars.

The rear is actually a little tight for many carseats given the bolstering. May need to try a few to find the right one. I might pick up one on Europe since they seem to make the safest and coolest seats.

Have a great trip --looks like you got a lot of car for the money.

. I'm still trying to get ED invoice +($1000 to $1300) for 335i coupe but the dealers in Houston area are not willing to go under MSRP

. Please let me know with who did you negotiate with and which dealership. thank you

I got $1200 over invoice with BMW of Austin. I emailed the internet department with Chris Markey. Just mention my name , Abid, hope he will recognize. Only thing to remember is that they charge the full acquistion of $825 and the full MF markup of 0.0004 and they wont negotiate on that. But its worth it considering all the hassle the Houston and Dallas area dealers are making.
