Drive screen completely black. Any know a fix????

Got a 2007 335i with ccc idrive. Everything was working fine. Just went down to get gas when i got back in the car the idrive screen was black. I can still use the volume button to turn up and down the radio station it was on. i can hit "mode" to change source to AUX and listen to music from my phone. But the Idrive screen is black don't see anything.

1) Tried to press the volume with 2 eject buttons for 30 seconds( someone said that resets it) but that didn't work.
Anything else i can try?
Anyone have any suggestions that they HAVE tried and worked?

I haven't tried this since I've never had this issue, but have you checked all the fuses related to navigation, etc?

couldn't really find a diagram for that.

One of the fuses is on the back of the Nav its 20amp

Are you sure your battery is good and not triggering an
IBS shutdown of some of your circuits.

There is both a Nav and stereo sub forum here as well

everything thing else works okay. My battery showed 12.5 a few months back, checked it again this morning its still 12.5 so nothing has changed really.
Any link how to get to that fuse?

the fuse in the back, is it in the back of the idrive screen or the back of the radio it self?

radio working, chiming for seatbelt etc is working. just display on screen is not
