sounds like the config in the cic is wrong.

You have the TV in the wrong wert mate, its looking for the audio source as the aux in.

you need to double check the cic coding and what pins you used for the FBAS lead.

Where is the 3rd antenna (the pink one) originally located on a F11? I want to place the ampire antenna the same place

There isn't one, you need to add it.

Where is the best place to put the third antenna? Could I stick it to the underside of the carbon roof? Does Carbon block the signal?

Hi guys, I'm new to this website but this post definitely seems where I need to be for some support.

I'm trying to retrofit TV into my E93 2010, I already ordered the rear TV/DAB Antenna from eBay, I've posted the link below to the one that was delivered today and photos of it

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283783009...mis&media=COPY

I've also ordered 12 socket housing kit from eBay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265624128...mis&media=COPY

I'm also looking for the best DVB-T2 and bracket that will fit perfectly in my E93 boot

Once I've got all the parts I then want to give this ago but need to source all the parts first, is there anything else I need? Etc wires from DVB-T2 to CIC or DVB-T2 to Most? I'm not 100% what I'm doing atm

Coding and flashing is not a problem as I'm pretty good with all that, it's just the wiring I need help with and all the kits I need to make this a success

Any help is much appreciated and thank you all for your time

I have some detail on my build thread that may be of use to you, it's for an e92 though:

https://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/threa...3/post-3438313

Track down the module first, that will be the most difficult part to source. The brackets are cheap enough to buy new from BMW. If you have CD changer prep, you can move and re-purpose those MOST lines to the location beside the combox.

You also need the fbas cable. You could make that using a 2-core shielded cable and crimp the pins onto the end.

Hi all, thought I'd say hello as I've just joined.

I actually own an E61 but this thread has all the relevant info. (Hopefully)

I have factory CIC Pro Nav and TV with the hybrid tuner. I have just purchased the later DVB-T2 box from an F10 and hoping it will go smoothly.

The TV currently works although reception isn't great, so as I've bought the RSE unit I'm going to use 2 ANT600 antennas along with the original OEM digital aerial.

CCFJ1 are you still active on here? I'm based in the UK so if I have issues are you still able to flash the TV modules?

I'll keep you all posted with progress 👍

Hello,
In my country we don't have analog TV, the TV when we get it the signal is only through receivers that are to a certain operator. Is it possible to have follow the steps to get any OEM kind of TV in my car?

You wont get an answer on a UK forum, you would be better to ask on the main forum.

I've posted this on other forums and not got any responses, so thought id try here!

I've had only recently bought the car and now noticed TV doesnt work (I didnt check it on collection, but contacted the previous owner and he assures me TV function was working when he had it....).

Problem: I search for new channels, and it seems to find a lot. At the end if the search, the screen goes back to TV mode with a "No Signal" message. I think it has failed to store any of the recently tuned stations as the station list has not been updated from when i bought it (it shows always the same station Kiss Fresh and the saved station list doesnt change either).

I also tried a USB with a couple of video files in the armrest - only 1 comes up and there is only sound (both files play in the X3M).

Its a 2008 car with CIC updgrade and Mr12Volt.

I rather suspect that this will be beyond me......but thought i would ask anyway!

you have too old module, DVB-T, а you need to swap a newer, DVB-T2, from F-series.

Hi,
This is the module that's in the car, so should be the correct one?

this is quite new module, it was only installed as a aftermarket
so either module is failing or the retrofit wasn't finished

I do wonder if the TV has ever worked, despite what previous owner has said. Problem seems very similar to this post

you can find any local bmw eletric, and he can flash this module on the bench because they usually have ZGW bench setup + Esys software

John (ccfj1) should be able to flash that for you. Send him a pm.

So, as a bit of an update (John doesnt come on here much now so havent managed a firmware update) i went into the service menu and the following was visible - similar to post #90 which was solved with a new aerial

Now, seems strange as it scans and finds channels, so must be getting a signal somehow.

Suppose i'll order an aerial!

How did you flash it?
It is possible to code it with NCS Expert (installed on a e9x series) or do you have to flash/code using Esys and a bench setup?

I am planning to move from DVBT to DVBT2 and I am not sure on what module should I have to buy and how to code/flash it properly

Best Regads
